Nobile Italia is an Italian company which has been designing and developing professional lighting solutions for over 60 years, thanks to high standards of quality and sustainability.

In the 1990s it became a major player in the outdoor residential lighting sector, retaining customer loyalty thanks to the quality of its products, service and efficiency.

Since the arrival of LED lights at the start of the century, the business has been continually evolving and has a marked ability for remaining on-trend when it comes to changing market requirements in the lighting industry, furthering its mission with innovation that surpasses simple functionality.

The story began in the 1960s when Dionisio Nobile’s passion for lighting saw him become a representative for various leading indoor lighting companies.

In 1990 he started working with Pelucchi SpA, an outdoor lighting company established in the 1960s. Two years later Nobile Illuminazione was established, and in the space of a decade became a leading company in outdoor lighting solutions.

In 2005, the company decided to embrace emerging LED technology, opening up the way to new frontiers in lighting.

In 2009 was one of the first companies to launch a new catalogue on the market filled entirely with LED products, laying the foundations for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Nobile Italia SpA was established in 2012 and in 2013 the company produced its Ecotech product range to replace conventional bulbs.

2016 marked a significant moment for Nobile when the company was chosen to illuminate Casa Italia in Rio de Janeiro during the Olympics. Nobile showcased its innovative products, including the famous Modus range, which captured the world’s attention with its bold design, efficient illumination and modularity.

In 2020 Nobile launched its best seller Strip LED 70092, offering LED lighting in a wide range of applications for different surfaces and settings.

With the desire to expand its global presence and increase its influence in the lighting industry, in 2022 Nobile became part of an international group, the Collingwood Lighting Group, part of the portfolio of Ambiente SGR (the main European asset manager focusing on environmental sustainability). This partnership is creating a synergy that will open the way to new markets and frontiers in innovation.

2024 has been a year of transformation for Nobile Italia Spa.

The company decided to launch a new visual identity that reflects the company’s rich history and ambitious prospects for the future. This new identity represents the organisation’s corporate values, firmly rooted in the search for efficient, convenient lighting solutions, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
